Tasks

This isn’t in your Settings: only Admins manage it, and Approvers when an Admin allows it in Permissions.

Tasks are the kinds of work you track time against, such as Design or Development. Settings → Tasks lists them with whether they’re billable, their default rate, and how much they’re used.

Choose New task to add one. Billable by default makes time on it billable. Default rate applies only on projects that bill by task. A Common task is added to every new project automatically. Choose Create task.

The Free plan’s limit

The Free plan includes 5 active tasks. Once you have five, New task shows Your Free plan includes 5 tasks in place of the form, with a Change plan link to Billing. Archived tasks don’t count, so archiving one makes room for another. Restoring an archived task counts the same as creating one.
